Depends on what are included in "Protozoa". I have for decades thought 
of the Metazoa as being synonymous with the blastulates (thus excluding 
the sponges, which I guess turn out to be paraphyletic). I'd hate to see 
it substantially redefined, since it would make a lot of the older 
literature confusing.
