  In term of image quality there is no alternative to Microptics system. Images aquired through stereo or compound microscope with coupler will always be of poorer quality just because more glass positioned between an object and a sensor.

  Qioptiq produces good quality couplers but it seems that they never update their product line. They still have listed as a novelty a coupler for Olympus CP350, a camera that was discontinued two years ago!
