EOL seeks a part-time biologist to coordinate our Marine Biodiversity Theme.
The Marine Theme Coordinator will facilitate partnerships, content-building,
synthetic research, and other activities related to EOL's goal of assembling
and serving information on 90% of the world's marine organisms by 2012. This
is an ideal position for an experienced researcher in marine biology,
taxonomy, ecology, or conservation who wants to explore opportunities in
informatics. The successful candidate will be based at the Smithsonian's
National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC, USA. S/he will
interact regularly with the Census of Marine Life and other marine
initiatives, as well as the other EOL components.
