[Taxacom] panbiogeography

It's occurred to me that if listers feel that it is necessary to bring
up legal issues regarding postings then its not where I feel
comfortable. After many years Curtis has achieved what no one else has,
and that is to get me to withdraw from the list. I have had a good
number of years of interesting discussions, but legal threats are not
something I want to contend with. This is my last posting.

[Copying a private email to the list]

Distributing a private email is a violation of copyright in the United
States; the author of the private email is the copyright owner. If
anyone should want to take John to task for this, the Digital Millennium
Copyright Act Designated Agent for the University of Kansas, which runs
the mail list, is listed at:

http://www.copyright.ku.edu/DMCA.shtml

I have not been able to find a designated agent for the Buffalo Museum
of Science; if they lack one, they have not limited their liability for
online copyright violations.
