Some of the medical articles I have developed on Wikipedia are
copied wholesale by dozens of other sites that sell links to
hospitals, drug companies, etc. Few of those sites acknowledge
they copied their content from Wikipedia and they do not link
back to Wikipedia. Whatever traffic those sites get is not
being directed to Wikipedia; that would be against those sites'
business model. The intent of those sites is to send traffic
to the sites' paid advertisers.
