Dear Nigel,
Your site is most impressive and if you are happy for me to do so, I will reference it extensively in my much more modest list - e.g. for a phylum like, say, Sipuncula, I will add a link of the form http://www.biologybrowser.org/cgi-bin/search/hyperseek.cgi?Terms=sipuncula if you have no objection. I am sure others on this list appreciate your notification as well.
Best regards - Tony

Tony and others:
The new site looks very interesting and is a useful summary of key resources.
You may also be interested in the open access BiologyBrowser site we have been running for a few years now (www.biologybrowser.org) which evaluates, categorises and indexes web based resources in biodiversity (mainly animal biodiversity allied to Zoological Record subject coverage).
We currently have around 150,000 resource pages listed and categorise by organism group, subject, and geographical location. We continue to add resources at around 60,000 per year. Any feedback to improve the site would be welcome as we are about to undertake a redevelopment.

Dear Tony,
Fantastic!! This is just what I've been looking for. Congratulations.
Here are two suggestions: http://www.iucnredlist.org/ This has the best maps of primates and many other mammals (with detailed notes) that I've found anywhere. Lots of other groups are also well-covered, especially frogs.
http://www.tropicos.org/ The best site I've found for tropical American plants.
