Dear colleagues,
I am happy to announce that the international Journal Insect Systematics & Evolution (http://www.brill.nl/ise) will be published under new editorial and publishing management with the beginning of this year (Volume 40, 2009). The current impact factor of the journal is 0.800 (Thomson Scientific's Journal Citations Report for 2007).
The are many exciting changes to the journal including:
an online submission system which allows easy submission and a fast peer-review process
no charges for color plates in the online version
a new editorial board comprising 17 world experts in systematic entomology and arachnology
Insect Systematics & Evolution publishes original papers on all aspects of systematic entomology and the evolutionary history of insects and related groups. Papers are of a wide international interest and priority is given to taxonomic revisions and phylogenetic studies employing morphological and molecular data.
Brill provides online manuscript submission for ISE through http://www.editorialmanager.com/ise
If you are interested in a pdf flyer with more information about the journal please contact me offline.
I look forward to your submissions.
Cheers,
Lars
