[Taxacom] Taxonomic carelessness

Dear All,
I am still ticked off at E. Raymond Hall (Mammals of North
America) for digging up two nomina oblita that were slightly older than
Mesoplodon. Luckily the International Commission eventually ruled in
our favor and against him.
Perhaps even more aggravating and "careless" was the recognition
of dozens of separate species of grizzly bears in North America alone.
After all these years, I'm still fuming over that. Most of them didn't
even merit subspecies status, much less species.
