While somewhat amusing in an acerbic curmudgeonly way, this doesn't strike 
me as in the spirit of objective scientific enquiry or even good ol' 
town-square democracy. Ideas and posts rise and fall on their merits.  If 
you are not interested in a particular thread or participant, do as I do 
and give the DELETE key a good workout, but please don't try to squelch 
posting.  If you can squelch him for his fondness for orangutan origins or 
non-molecular data, then you can squelch me for my occasional shots across 
the bow at cladistic classification and phylogenetic 
nomenclature.  Squelching is never a good idea.
