While somewhat amusing in an acerbic curmudgeonly way, this doesn't strike
me as in the spirit of objective scientific enquiry or even good ol'
town-square democracy. Ideas and posts rise and fall on their merits. If
you are not interested in a particular thread or participant, do as I do
and give the DELETE key a good workout, but please don't try to squelch
posting. If you can squelch him for his fondness for orangutan origins or
non-molecular data, then you can squelch me for my occasional shots across
the bow at cladistic classification and phylogenetic
nomenclature. Squelching is never a good idea.
