The PNAS paper that appeared last week with data on the recommended
barcode regions for land plants goes well beyond wishful thinking and
imagination, I believe.

1. For vascular plants, rather than creating new resources, why do we
not persuade the folks at IPNI to enable people to submit new names to
them. And yes, I mean new names. 
2. Barcoding. From what I have read, the support for this lovely simple
approach relies heavily on wishful thinking and imagination.
