[Taxacom] Phylogenetic classification?

Seen this elsewhere, too, which is why I did not list bottlenecking as a factor in speciation, BUT these authors may be using the wrong measures or wrong tests. Bottlenecking e.g. founder effect is still a viable mechanism for speciation, as such, in spite of the evidence for and against its force.

Dear Ken et al.,

In their book 'Speciation' (2004: 401) Coyne & Orr concluded that 'there is
little evidence for founder effect speciation'. Note that these authors are not rabid
cladists or wacky vicariance biogeographers but eminently respectable population
geneticists who can be taken seriously.
