re my earlier posting (April 2nd) - Alex Lockton, Coordinator 
of the Botanical Society of the British Isles, has very kindly just 
scanned and put on line [1], Vol 3 of Proc. Bot. Soc. Brit.
Isles; complete with the account of that Banyuls meeting [2].

For any one else who was there (it was 1958, not '59; my mistake), 
and who has not yet contacted me, a reunion of surviving members of 
the "BSBI European Junior Residential Meeting 1958" is planned for 
later this year in London. Contact me off list for details.
