I haven't been following this thread too closely, but perhaps it might help to point out that there are several excellent ways of "writing" electronic versions of classifications, which can then be used as data in a algorithm for a superclassification.. My favourite is the original format used in PAUP - as opposed to the fiendish, later version using parentheses.

I trust by now that everyone realizes what I'm talking about is not simply a
"voting system", so I won't go there.
