Post-Doc Position in mycology (8-229)

Faculty of Science
The National Herbarium of the Netherlands (NHN) and the Kits van Waveren Foundation

The Kits van Waveren Foundation pursues the advancement of the study of the taxonomy, morphology, ecology, geography and evolution of the Agaricales sensu lato. The mycology group of the NHN is embedded in the Phanerogams and Cryptogams of the Netherlands and Europe (PCNE) research group. The NHN mycological research has a long tradition in the systematics of Agaricales, which resulted in monographs of various groups of Agarics, and a critical flora of agarics in the Netherlands (Flora Agaricina Neerlandica). Recently studies have been performed on the molecular systematics, phylogenetics, evolution and speciation of selected genera and families, including Leccinum and the Entolomataceae.
