[Taxacom] lectotypification?

Thanks to all again for the replies. 
A am currently working on species of the 
genus Hoya. I have seen and taken pictures of many herbarium specimens in 
different european and american herbaria, so I am 'mapping' the duplicates of 
different species from different Hoya collectors. As a beginner I did not have 
clear ideas on what could be lectotypified and what *needs* to be 
lectotypified. Now this is more clear.
