[Taxacom] selling names, again

Here is another one place to buy yourself a scientific name, I just came

Why is E= Wilson doing this? There is no place on the the EOLfoundation web
site to find out, how this money is being spent. There is no indication that
parts of the benefits have been shared. If I would be a Brazilian or country
of origin, I would be very doubtful about such activities. With the high
profile Wilson has, this certainly contributes to the argument of those
congressmen and military who want to close their borders for any sort of
biodiversity inventories.
Certainly, the orchid has not been collected with a permit to sell its
name?!.
If people do want to make money selling names for a good purpose, why aren't
they show how the money has been spent? For example, where did the money go,
Conservation International got from last falls fish auction in Monaco? (See
