[Taxacom] Annual Systematics Symposium, Missouri Botanical Garden

The Missouri Botanical Garden announces its 54th Annual Systematics Symposium to take place in St. Louis on 12-13 October 2007.

 

This year's topic is: "Biodiversity and Conservation in the Andes", organized by Olga Martha Montiel and Peter Møller Jørgensen, and presented with support from the National Science Foundation.

 

Friday evening, 12 October, will be devoted to an informal mixer on the Garden grounds for all Symposium participants and speakers. The talks will be presented on Saturday 13 October in the Ridgway Center. The Saturday symposium starts at 8:30 a.m. in the Shoenberg Auditorium. Registration must be accompanied by a $75.00 registration fee, which covers the cost of refreshments at the Friday mixer and lunch and dinner on Saturday. Information on local hotels and motels will be sent to registrants. No refunds will be granted after 24 September. Space is limited to 400, so please register early.
