[Taxacom] new journal for cytogeneticists

Dear Colleagues!
We are pleased to inform you that the first issue of a new peer-reviewed
Journal "Comparative Cytogenetics" with the subtitle "International
Journal of Plant and Animal Cytogenetics, Karyosystematics, and
Molecular Systematics" is just published. The Journal publishes original
papers, literature reviews, critical commentaries, short notes about
conferences, meetings and new books on the subject. Articles covering
interdisciplinary topics where karyology forms the central theme are
also encouraged. 
 "Comparative Cytogenetics" will be published twice a year and will be
available online. For more information and free access to the first
issue of the Journal, please visit

We hope that this issue will encourage readers to contribute articles
and notes and look forward to receive their contributions. We hope also
that scientific libraries and scientists will subscribe to "Comparative
Cytogenetics".
