[Taxacom] species names for sale.

I like their sales pitch on the species of Cardiophorus (for those who
are in love). However, it probably would be wise for the purchaser to make
sure his wife or girl-friend actually likes beetles before slipping a
picture of this beetle into their Valentine's Day card. :-) As for the
advertisement, I would stick with "dorsal shield", and strongly suggest
omitting the word "scutellum" (which definitely does not sound romantic at
all).

I suppose it is one way to raise money, as long as the money is being
plowed back into research. And as long as it involves speciose groups and
is done in good taste. However, I would REALLY hate to see generic names
sold in this manner.

P.S. Anybody have a really ugly, nasty-looking insect that they want to
advertise? It might fetch a really good price from Donald Trump in his feud
with Rosie. :-) Afterall, didn't Linnaeus do that to a couple of his
enemies?
