[Taxacom] Homoptera vs. Hemiptera

     The attachment (photo) to Hans' posting apparently did not go through, 
so can't comment on the homopteran with broad antennae.  However, it makes 
me wonder how many entolomologists these days have abandonned the taxon 
Homoptera in favor of Hemiptera.

    Homoptera is almost certainly paraphyletic (with respect to 
Heteroptera), and although I don't reject such formal taxa just because they 
are paraphyletic, I am wondering how many entomologists want to continue 
seeing Homoptera classified as a formal taxon (whether as an Order or 
Suborder).
