ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE FEBRUARY 1, 2007

 

We'd like to invite you to attend a fun-filled, research-oriented,
affordable symposium being held at the University of Southern Mississippi's
Gulf Coast Research Lab in Ocean Springs, MS. This symposium provides a
forum for students to present their research in a formal but non-threatening
environment and to network with students and faculty from across the region.
All university students and faculty in aquatic, marine and biological
sciences are invited to attend and all graduate students are encouraged to
present. Awards will be given for best oral and poster presentation and oral
presenters will receive feedback. We have an exciting program lined up and
new this year is a career fair. Dr. George Benz, director emeritus of the
Tennessee Aquarium Research Institute and associate professor at Middle
Tennessee State University, will give our keynote address.

 

 

REGISTRATION: $20  (includes t-shirt, Fri. night social, Sat. lunch)
Late registration (after December 31, 2006) $25

DORMITORY: $10/night (includes breakfast the following morning)

BREAKFASTS: $3/each (available for individual purchase for those not staying
in the dorms)

BANQUET: $10/person (includes wine tour of Walter Anderson Museum of Art and
Low-Country Banquet)
