The URL was broken in the email message and the hyperlink was composed
of only the first part. I put together the parts and got to a paper:
A key to the unilocular hyaline Foraminifera
Author: Revets, Stefan A.
which is the one you are linking to.
www.ingentaconnect.com/content/geol/jm/2005/00000024/00000002/art00004
You have to recompose the parts of the address when you access the link,
and ignore the partial hyperlink.
A while back, TinyURL.com was proposed as a solution to long URLs.

There can be problems with DOIs, too. My only attempt to use one wasn't
encouraging. I was sent a reference, including a DOI, to add to the list
on
the DELTA Web site. The DOI was apparently wrong, and I couldn't get it
fixed; in the end, I thought it best to omit it. Here's a precis of my
correspondence on the matter.

In the article
Revets, S. A. 2005. A key to the unilocular hyaline Foraminifera.
Journal of Micropalaeontology, 24(2): 145-158. DOI:
10.1144/0262-821X04-001
at
http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/geol/jm/2005/00000024/00000002/
art00004
the DOI seems to be incorrect. When I submit it to http://www.doi.org/,
I
get the message
The DOI 10.1144/0262-821X04-001 cannot be found in the Handle
System.

Thank you for reporting this error. It has been forwarded to the
appropriate
DOI registrant contact for action. Note that if the item the DOI
identifies
is new, the DOI may have been unintentionally made public before being
registered with the DOI system and may be available later.
Thanks again --
