Dear All,
      What disturbs me most is the apparent failure to compare it to other 
species outside of the apella group.  In particular, I would certainly want 
to compare it to specimens of Cebus albifrons (which displays a fair amount 
of variation in pelage).  This could be a new subspecies, but not a full 
species.  It really is a shame they didn't get a small hair sample while 
they had the holotype in hand.  Hair grows back and getting a sample would 
not have been painful or intrusive.
