[Taxacom] FNA treatment of Dodecatheon (Primulaceae)

Dear All,
     I applaud FNA for maintaining Dodecatheon as a separate genus, even if 
it renders Auriculastrum (and thus Primula) paraphyletic.  Primula seems to 
be too overbloated and heterogenous already.  I do have a 
question---wouldn't Dodecatheon have priority over Auriculastrum if these 
two taxa were cladistically merged into a single subgenus (or genus)?
