Molecular Systematist 

 

 

 

 

Do you want to help safeguard Australia's unique biodiversity?

CSIRO Entomology houses the Australian National Insect Collection and is
seeking a molecular systematist to explore broad questions of the
evolution of Australia's invertebrate biodiversity.  You will develop a
suite of research projects which apply advanced molecular tools
integrated with morphological data.  You will link molecular systematics
to other key areas of research in invasive species, ecosystem function
and diagnostics.  This appointment represents a long-term commitment
where we expect you to develop a dynamic research group.

You will be based in CSIRO Entomology, Canberra.  This is a continuing
(indefinite) position.
