Do you want to help safeguard Australia's unique biodiversity?
CSIRO Entomology houses the Australian National Insect Collection and
is
seeking a molecular systematist to explore broad questions of the
evolution of Australia's invertebrate biodiversity. You will develop
a
suite of research projects which apply advanced molecular tools
integrated with morphological data to link molecular systematics to
other key areas of activity in invasive species, ecosystem function
and
diagnostics. This appointment represents a long-term commitment where
we expect you to develop a dynamic research group.
You will be based in CSIRO Entomology, Canberra. This is a continuing
(indefinite) position.
