[Taxacom] Research Specialist Position, Missouri Botanical Garden

The Missouri Botanical Garden invites applications for a Research
Specialist to help plan and conduct field trips and to collect voucher
specimens and samples for programs to discover new pharmaceuticals or to
study medicinal plants.  The position requires extensive travel and
field work in difficult environments.  Potential travel to tropical
countries is anticipated.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Botany (or a related field),
Masters preferred.  Previous herbarium and field experience preferred.
Experience with medicinal plants helpful.  A reading knowledge of
Spanish or French helpful.  Knowledge of database management and
botanical literature is required.
