group concerned was mentioned!
Dear Ms. Arbo,
If Kraenzlin described this species from the Berlin herbarium, where he
worked, then the type, Fiebrig 4937, has most likely been lost. However, he
often kept fragments for his private herbarium. TL-2 reports that that was
acquired by Berlin. Hoewever, my orchid friends here tell me that it has
miraculously survived and is now in Hamburg.
The Index herbariorum II, 2 (1957) reports the presence of Fiebrig material
in A, AS, B, BAF, BM, BRG, BRSL, E, F, G, GH, GOET, K, L, LD, M, MO, NY, P,
POM, S, SI, U, US, W. So plenty of chances that an isotype is pressent in
some of them
I have checked our holdings (L) and have not found it. It is also not
listed for U, but may not have been detected as a type.
Happy week-end,
JeF
