In that case a fragment ending in A (Arnold Arboretum Herbarium) should be
called an isotype when the holotype remained in GH (Gray Herbarium). Now that
both herbaria are integrated again into the Harvard University Herbaria, both
parts may be considered as the holotype (parts) again. It is strange anyway that
the status of a type specimen may change depending on the building where it is
stored...
