Dear group,
I'm posting this question to the community to learn of colleges/universities
that have an official undergraduate major in 'Systematics' or 'Phylogenetics'.
I realize that many institutions offer courses in these fields. However, it's
my understanding that in most cases, students at these institutions declare
their actual major as 'biology', 'zoology', 'entomology', 'botany', etc.
Are there any undergraduate programs that actually have 'systematics' as a major
independent of the taxa being studied? If so, I'm interested to learn how they
have structured their programs.
Thank you in advance,
-Chris
