Namibian Tree Atlas online

Dear Taxacommers

On the occasion of the official launch of the recently published Tree
Atlas of Namibia, it gives me great pleasure to announce that the
searchable Tree Atlas database is now available on-line at
http://www.biodiversity.org.na/index.php. Some 600 trees and other large
woody plants are included in the database. Current functionality allows
for retrieving maps of the Namibian distribution for each, as well as
species lists for any 15'x15' grid square in the country.
