Distribution of Didymopanax morototoni (Araliaceae)

A colleague is interested in finding detailed distribution information (maps, specimen lists, etc.) for the Caribbean/South American tree species Didymopanax morototoni in the Araliaceae.  This plant has synonyms in Schefflera and several other genera.  MOBOT's specimen mapping function does not provide too many entries, and only two in Brazil, the country he is most concerned with.

Does anyone know of any good references for this taxon?  Googling hasn't turned up much that is specific.
