POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION IN SYSTEMATIC BOTANY
at the Bergius foundation, Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and
Department of Botany, Stockholm University, Sweden


The position will be attached to a project on Rubiaceae phylogeny.

The Bergius Foundation is seeking a post-doctoral candidate to
conduct phylogenetic studies of the tribe Urophylleae, subfamily
Rubioideae of the Rubiaceae family. Candidates with experience of
Rubiaceae would be preferred, but suitable candidates with training
in other plant groups and with a genuine interest in Rubiaceae, will
also be considered. Candidates who already have well-developed
research proposals on any particular Rubiaceae groups are
particularly encouraged to apply. Interested candidates should send
curriculum vitae, list of publications, a brief statement of
botanical interests and experiences, and a list of three personal
references.

The Position is available for one year (may be extended for one more
year) starting January 1, 2006, at the earliest.
