In addition there is the discoverlife.org website. Linking a number of
collections and mapping them through topozone. Maps plot individual
specimens using decimal long/lat data. If precise location is not known
it give county centroids for the location. Search and map by genus or
species level. Mycology collections seem to be missing. Herbaria that
are participating include MOBOT, portions of the Smithsonian and a
number of University herbaria.
