contacts with enthomologists as my colleagues from the world botanic
gardens suggested in their repsonses.
Thank you in advance for the assistance!
Sincerely yours,

Hi Everyone,
Does anybody know:
How to get rid of the western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis)
at the botanic garden greenhouses in a cold climate?
Sharing of ideas and best practice would be greatly appreciated since
we now have a problem either to destroy all greenhouse plants
(over 1200 plant taxa) as the national quarantine inspection
demands to do or to find a safe way out.
Any efficient procedures and working recepies?
Any available arguments and facts on the IPM and on the
status of the western flower thrips in different national botanic
gardens and in countries of Europe and the USA would be
instrumental for ongoing discussions/fight with the Soviet style
beaurocrats in Siberia.
Thank you in advance!
