Rejection

Gosh, if I am searching for information on Quercus nigra will I be identified as
a possible racist? This aspect of political correctness/sensitivity is going
too far! What's next, a restriction on Pinus, Phallus, Clitoria, and any other
scientific names that are similar to what some see as offensive terms?

maybe we should institute a new code to rectify all potentially offensive
nomenclatural terms - oops, have I just presented an argument for adopting
Phylocode?

Cheers,

Dick J.
