Announcement

The International Society of Hymenopterists invites you to participate
in the above scientific conference which will be held at Sun City,
Northwest Province, South Africa. We intend to provide a forum for the
dynamic exchange of information and ideas relevant to those interested
in Hymenoptera. Your input is required to make this a success, and
suggestions for symposia, special sessions and/or keynote speakers will
be particularly welcomed.
The venue is part of a tourist complex renowned for its sporting and
other attractions, including the adjacent Pilanesberg National Park
(where big game are on view). It is ideal for a family holiday. The
registration fees will include teas and lunches each day, a welcoming
party, an afternoon game drive, the congress dinner, congress
documentation, and other goodies. The registration fees will be: ZAR2100
(early - before 1st August 2005), ZAR2600 (normal), ZAR1600 (full-time
student), ZAR900 (companion), ZAR500 (one day), ZAR500 (late penalty -
after 31 October 2005) (for approximate US$ equivalents, divide by 6).
They do not include accommodation, other evening meals or transport to
Sun City. Accommodation will be at the Cabanas complex in Sun City where
80 rooms have already been reserved, and more will be available.
Particularly if delegates share rooms, the costs of this luxury
accommodation (bed and breakfast) will be very reasonable: ZAR895
sharing (= ZAR447.50 each) per night (ZAR810 single).
