dear folks:
trying to help a grad student out.
is there a simple chemical method, like a strip of litmus paper (it
should be that easy??) that would allow her to take a small sample of a
solution and test for starch, animal protean and perhaps (and this
would be really really grand) between mammal protean and insect protean.
