Crisis in INBio

If it is true, it's certainly sad. When money gets tight, the capitalistic way is to cut jobs whether it makes long-term sense or not. Perhaps an unfortunate over-reliance on pharmaceutical partnerships (and future meager royalties, if they materialize at all). With Merck and other such companies now under a great deal of liability stress, those funding sources will probably all but dry up. Things will probably get worse before they get better.

Dear All,
I believe that INBio in Costa Rica is experiencing a funding crisis and that they are about to make many of their scientists redundant. Does anyone know any more about this?
