good morning, afternoon, day folks sorry to cross post but we are excited.
as of today we wish to announce the launch of our new web site and data
base access. it is not perfect, it is not complete, and it is woefully
lacking at this time in many ways. but it is a "work in progress" so
far 180,000 of our specimens may be accessed on an individual specimen
basis with all information, including habitat for most, available. it
is a bit slow, it is a bit cumbersome and if shawn, john, or i am
doing additions, corrections, or other updates only 3 others may use it
at any time. when we are not using it ourselves a total of 5 individuals
may access it. as time, funding to hire a consultant for further
development of functions, and funding to hire students to continue with
data entry and lot association it will be adjusted, tweaked, and made
better.
go to the web site given below and follow the path to the data base
instructions and on to the data base itself. there you will have the
option to open on either lots or specimens.
thanks for your support and help over the years.
cheers!
