Dear Taxacomers,
At the Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, we are establishing a small
natural history museum, with botanical, entomological, ornithological,
ichtyological, and mammal specimens mainly of neotropical origin.
Before we start shelving the specimens, we would like to inquire on the
various ordering schemes in which specimens are held in different
institutions. As a botanist, I will use a phylogenetic order based on
APG for flowering plants, but what about the other groups?
We would appreciate your input on this subject.
Best wishes,
Santiago.
