folder labels

Herbarium Curator Colleagues,

I would like to redo many of our herbarium folder labels.  They were
originally labeled by hand using a rubber stamp block and individual
letters.  I assume that "Avery" labels will peel off and look tacky
over time, so I am asking for advice on a better way.
