JOB STATUS:
Permanent
SALARY PER ANNUM:
Salary is dependent on experience and starts from £20,085 to £40,000
DEPARTMENT:
Herbarium, Monocots Systematic Teams and Associated Units
JOB DETAILS:
You will research the systematics of grasses and related groups,
developing a world-class research programme with Kew and national and
international collaborators. You will also assist in the day-to-day
curation of the Commelinid collections and, wherever possible, seek out
and secure funding opportunities.
ESSENTIALS:
You will have a PhD of equivalent in a relevant subject along with
expertise in plant and morphological and molecular systematic
techniques. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are a must
along with the ability to make sound judgements and confidence when
working with colleagues.
