Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Botany

DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer
in the Department of Botany.  Preference will be given to applicants
with research interests in the genetics of plants (terrestrial or
marine) and an enthusiasm for teaching.  Applicants with other research
interests within the current scope of the department are encouraged to
apply.

The Botany Department has teaching commitments and research strengths
in Biotechnology, Conservation Biology, Ecology, Genetics, Marine
Botany, Mycology, Plant Physiology, Systematics and Virology.  Ability
to teach across several degree programs would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be expected to commence work in Dunedin
early in 2005.

An outstanding candidate may be considered for appointment above the
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level.
