Dear All,
It was pointed out to me in a private e-mail that the phrase "haploid endosperm" is somewhat confusing. And strictly speaking, I guess it's not "real" endosperm if it hasn't been fertilized. It would have been better if I had referred to it as haploid "nutritive tissue" in gymnosperms.
