DOCTORAL STUDENT POSITION

Our group works on comparative floral structure and development in
flowering plants in relation to macrosystematics, with a focus on
clades of phylogenetically basal and mid-levels. The goals are to
trace the evolution of floral traits based on new molecular
phylogenetic results and to get a better understanding of the
evolution of the most diverse plant group of our planet.

Requirements: University Diploma/Master Degree in Biology; strong
interest in diversity, structure and function in plants.

Entrance upon early 2004

Duration of appointment: 3 years
