Peter B. Tirrell is requesting any information, comments and publications such as newspaper articles discussing with the current "crisis" in museums of natural history, especially university museums of natural history. Peter serves as a board member of the American Association of Museums(AAM) and the International Committee for University Museums and Collections (UMAC). He is a former president of the Association of University Museums and Galleries(ACUMG). He emphasizes that his interests are his own and not representative and not endorsed by AAM, UMAC, or ACUMG." He wishes to add to his understanding of the crisis and to represent his peers and colleagues. In addition, he is seeking qualified who can address this topic at the 2003 UMAC Conference (see: http://www.snomnh.ou.edu/umac2003/).
