Paraphyly/Plesiomorphy

Dear Taxacomers,
 
in previous posts, I have been supporting the idea of "paraphyletic" characters.
When saying that, I was referring to the fact that the relationships established between parts of organisms by plesiomorphic characters are the same as the relationships established between organisms by paraphyletic taxa.
I admit that my statement was, at least, not clear and probably mistaken in its terminology, so I return to the usual terms of paraphyletic taxa and plesiomorphic characters, hoping to end this thread.
