Landcare Research (LCR) is New Zealand's national research agency (a Crown
Research Institute) dedicated to the sustainable use of natural resources.
The company employs 450 staff at nine locations throughout New Zealand.
Major areas of research are in the fields of conservation biology and
ecology, environmental monitoring, climate change, the management of weeds
and pests, and soil and water resources.  LCR is a center of systematics
expertise and curates the national collections of plants (CHR), fungi
(PDD), insects (NZAC) & nematodes, and maintains living genetic resource
collections of bacteria and fungi (ICMP).

We have a growing team involved in designing, developing & implementing
information systems and applications to support our science research, and
the national collections.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a background in Biodiversity
Informatics to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to be an
integral part of a team at a time of significant growth and development.
The position is full-time and based in Lincoln, near Christchurch.
