HERBARIUM ADMINISTRATOR

Salary Range: £13,700 to £22,903

Applications are invited from suitably qualified
and experienced candidates for the post of
Herbarium Administrator at the internationally
renowned Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
Candidates should have a good level of education
and have at least 3 years experience of working
in a Herbarium.  Alternatively, you should have
a degree or HND in Biological Sciences.  You
should also have good communication and keyboard
skills together with a thorough knowledge of a
Herbarium computer management database, an
essential requirement of the post.  Knowledge of
working practices within an international
Herbarium and knowledge of Herbarium based
taxonomic research are also essential.  The
postholder will also be required to provide a
range of administrative services.
